But then there is always the risk of losing the journal, having a house accident (so many of my friends have lost their houses to fires recently), pen/pencil fading etc where you can't lose an email. She wasn't extremely diligent about it, but I LOVED reading through it. It has so much special meaning and sentimental value. I loved it as a kid and knew that I wanted to do it for my baby.</p> <p>The mom that I nanny for started email addresses for her kids and encouraged family and closest friends to write letters to her kids too. She writes letters to them by sending them to "their" email addresses and once they're older, she'll give them their email.</p> <p>I love both ideas and both have their pros/cons.<br /> Which is a better idea? Which would you choose and why? I can't decide which one to do. </p>
