Both are now my 2 week old twins.</p> <p>I was worried about grading, too, but throughout my pregnancy I was trying to be positive but mentally I was waiting for the shoe to drop. There are so many factors to having a baby that I'm not sure if anyone in the medical field could determine if it was due to one thing. I had a bunch of (I would say) minor complications. I didn't really blame anything. With IF, I knew it was sorta out of my power and if I had one baby, I would be so so happy. And this past cycle, one of the doctors tried to convince us to put two in because they didn't look very good. Nothing. My second, I transferred two early blasts. One took. That one is my adorable 19 month old. My third IVF, I transferred one early blast. It is now my 23 week old fetus. I have three from that cycle in the freezer, all early blasts on day 5. They were both early blastocysts so I don't think they even got a grade. But it seems like everything I've read says it doesn't really matter, excellent eggs fail and poor eggs turn into babies! Our embryos were all 4AB or 4AA (day 5 blastocysts). I couldn't have a fresh transfer because I had OHSS and we had 6 blastocysts frozen. Interestingly they don't separate the embryos when they freeze them (at least at our clinic unless you're having PGS/PGD) so I'm not sure what grade we actually had transferred for our FET. Doctor said they look great, but when I pushed him for a grade, he said "B." I'm hoping these Bs perform! </p>
