Check out the spinning babies website! Even though it's early to worry about her being breech, it might be nice to ease some of the discomfort!

@Torchwood: lol, it's also kind of distracting! She did it once while I was sitting at my desk at work, and I had to stop myself from saying something out loud, I was so surprised.

I mean, that's the one door that needs to stay closed for the moment kid, don't go trying to kick it down!

Hopefully your LO decides to shift soon!

I definitely understand wanting her to stop kicking your cervix! Unfortunately at 27 weeks, my LO hasn't stopped. She does it all the time. Thankfully still not painful though! I may try some of the tips people post!

@NorCalWayfarer, @Mrs Spoon: Exactly- I have no concerns about her being breech at all, since she can move around freely. I'll just keep moving about and hope that she eventually finds another part of me to kick! :silly:

It's still so early so I wouldn't worry about breech just quite yet. But you can checkout spinningbabies.com. These are great exercises to do throughout your pregnancy if approved by your dr or midwife. My little girl was transverse and busting my pelvis apart so these helped her move and give me some relief.

Like you said, I wouldn't worry about it right now since she's still so tiny and has so much room to move around in there. My OB said they aren't really set in there til more like 36 weeks. My friend whose baby was breech tried acupuncture, a chiropractor, walks, downdog/inversions (granted none of them were successful in moving her stubborn guy into the correct position).

My baby appears to be in the correct position right now, but my midwife also said we could try putting an ice pack on the part of my stomach where we don't want the baby (he's been riding high in my ribs) -- she said he will move away from the cold. So that might be something else to try.

I'm currently 22w, and at our anatomy scan a few weeks ago, the tech mentioned that baby was breech. I'm not worried at all about that, because she's got pleeeenty of time to move.

Thing is, (and I'm afraid that this might be TMI, but here goes) the past few weeks, I can tell that she's still breech because for the past few days she's been kicking the crap out of my cervix! She's still small enough that it's not outright painful, but it's jarring and not exactly comfortable!

While she'll probably shift on her own eventually, is there anything I can do to encourage her to explore a new and different part of my uterus? Should I try some headstands or a bit of downward dog?
