For music, we love Canticuénticos. We watch Neflix in Spanish often (you can just change the language). Pocoyó is a good Spanish language show too. Also, we haven't tried them but there are lots of kids Spanish classes on Outschool.

Our 7 year old started doing Spanish on Duolingo at the beginning of quarantine last spring, and he's enjoyed it, because he's learning but it's also like a game for him. We do have to supervise him a bit to make sure he's doing some lessons, not just playing, but it's low-key enough that it doesn't feel like a chore.

If you have scholastic book club through school, they have a circular for Spanish books (mostly English books that have been translated). You can see it online even if you don't have the physical one.

@SweetCaroline: my kids are in Spanish immersion at school, but my daughter loves the program duolingo. I think she has an account through school but she will come home and ask to do it for fun. She is in 3rd grade so I am not sure how much reading is required. My younger kiddo is in kinder and during remote learning his teacher used a lot of songs like the days of the week, greetings etc, that looked like they are from YouTube.

They also had this video to practice the letter sounds that we watched over and over and he really loved: https://youtu.be/aNMwtfP-jC4

There are a bunch of English/Spanish books that switch back and forth between the languages. My boys love "Fire! Fuego! Brave bomberos!" Also "Twas Nochebuena" is a good Christmas one.

We're trying to teach our kids French and there are a lot of shows on Netflix that you can change the language for. Maybe check some of her favorite shows and see if they have a Spanish option?

DD is participating in an extracurricular Spanish class, 2x30 minute sessions a week. She's in Kindergarten and has learned her colors and counting to 10 in Spanish so far. She really really enjoys it and I would like to encourage her in a low pressure way.

Does anyone have books, DVDs, YouTube, etc. they'd recommend?
