I had absolutely no issues with engorgement when we weaned and I dropped from 3/4 sessions a day to 0. Hopefully it'll be the same for you. Well, I had one random night about 3 weeks after weaning where I leaked! What an amazing year it has been :) To help with drying up, I have heard you can take some of the 'drying' cold medicines in small doses. Congrats to you! We are almost fully transitioned during the day (she's doing 1 part BM to 3 part WCM) but I don't see us losing the morning and night feeds any time soon. Girlfriend SHRIEKS and tries to pull my top off of me if I refuse. I'm ok with it for the moment, I'm just so ready to be done with the pump at work!! And I had SO many fears about it. And really no expectation because no one in my family had BFed for very long except one cousin! anyway-- had to mark this momentous day with a post! eta: what should i do to help along the Dry Up process? i'm not too uncomfortable as we were down to AM only nursing session... but ive heard that day 3 is the killer...
