This virus has only been discovered in the 1960's and has not been a frequent infectious agent, so that's why there isn't a vaccine. It's called enterovirus D68. It causes asthma type symptoms even in kids who don't have asthma. From what I saw, it's more of a concern for children with asthma?? Anything related to breathing is very scary ...
