By 9 months I was pumping 3x/day. Morning, noon, night, probably producing about 24 ounces.. But I think around then I dropped to 2 pumps per day. once during her morning nap, the second one after she went to bed. I was probably producing about 20 ounces at that point. I pump 4-5 times a day and get 22-26 oz per day. I am pretty inconsistent, but I try pump for 15-18 min when I wake up around 7:30, then 13-15 min at 10:30, 2:30, 6, and 9:30. I had really low output for my first and had to pump 30 mins each time for a total of 22oz a day. I supplemented with a bottle of formula. </p> <p>This baby is almost 5 months. I pump 4-5x a day, 15-20 mins each session and make about 24oz a day. I give him one bottle of formula at bedtime and freeze the leftover BM to build my stash. </p> <p>But I'm not a prolific producer of BM like some moms. With my first, he stopped drinking more than 20oz of milk a day at 9 months and slowly decreased to the point where he didn't drink more than 12oz by the time he was 1.
