If you pump enough even with the long intervals at work you may be ok - I'm more concerned for your comfort at work to be honest. At 2.5 months my daughter started to STTN and my supply held up fine even though I'd have a stretch of 8 hours between a last pump at night and first nursing/pumping in the morning. But you might struggle with supply too...the main key is going to be lots of pumping outside of work and getting pumping in last thing before work and ASAP after work.

@Ash: Your supply might dip if you're not hitting your magic number of nursing/pumping times. If you're only able to pump 1-2x at work, I would suggest pumping additionally outside of work - maybe on your commute to and from? And maybe add more pumping at home, like every 1.5-2 hours instead of 2-3.

@Alivoo01: @Adira: Thanks!

Any recommendations on what to do when I go back to work in 7 weeks? I'll be working 2 12hr shifts (gone from home for at least 15hrs) and I'll only get to pump 1-2x. Will my supply dip?

Looks good to me!!! If you're able to keep up with his needs by pumping when he eats, then keep doing that!

For me, whenever I've EP'd (just when I've been gone for a weekend or something), I always had to pump an additional time than Xander ate to keep up with his intake. If you don't have to do that, you're lucky!! :)

Your schedule looks good to me too since you're pumping when he's eating!

Seems good to me! You can start building a freezer stash with the extras. I feel you on the pain, I slept through an alarm to get up and pump and ending up going 8.5 hours between, and my huge boobs woke me up!

So I've been EPing for a week and a half now and I pump every time DS eats. So, if, during the day he eats every 2-3hrs, I pump every 2-3hrs. And, at night, he eats every 4hrs so I pump every 4hrs. I get 4-6oz every session and he takes 3-4oz every feeding.

Do I need to change anything or does this seem okay?

Eta: I fell asleep after his 4 o'clock feeding this morning and woke up after going 6.5hrs between pumping (never done that) and OWWWWWW!
