@farawayyama: yea, I should just attach a blanket. Not worth spending extra, although a rain cover would be nice. I live in NY so our winters can be really harsh.

I used bulldog clips to clip a thick fleece blanket on my ergo, then wore my winter coat unzipped over it (it kept the blanket tucked in on the sides.

It worked really well and was free (had the blanket already). Where I live has bad winters and that one was especially harsh and I never had an issue with keeping her warm.

I used mitten clips to clip a blanket over the ergo. And she was bundled up, obviously.

I did a hat and booties on baby, then bought an oversized fleece for myself and just zipped it over me and baby.

I used this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Jolly-Jumper-Snuggle-Cover-Carriers/dp/B001P1VBH4/

I liked it for the carseat and the ergo; not so much the stroller (but it did work on the stroller - just fit kinda funny).

I just got this off my registry!

http://a.co/3RZF841

I have different kinds of carriers and I will probably be using this on DD2 this winter/spring into next winter!

A friend loaned me this thing and it works great. We don't get super cold weather here, but I used it last week when we went for a walk so LO and I could stay warm.

My baby boy is now 5 months old and since he is the second child I wear him more than ever. As winter approaches I'm thinking of getting an ergo cold weather cover. I've been bundling him well, but I'm worried more for when it snows and such.

Has anyone purchased he ergo cover? Is it a waste of money? Should I use a blanket instead?

Thanks!
