I definitely wouldn't use peppermint or eucalyptus on a baby under 2. Eucalyptus, peppermint are high in 1,8-cineole and can potentially cause respiration to slow in children. Here is a link I found super helpful! http://www.learningabouteos.com/index.php/2014/02/07/essential-oils-and-children/

Under a year I would put them very diluted on the bottoms of their feet only...dissing is fine after 3 months. Lemon, peppermint and lavender is a good combo...or you can get a blend from wherever you buy. I think young living's is called breathe again.

I have terrible allergies and I do lavender and the doterra Breathe in a diffuser at night. Not sure what age you can put them on babies but I would imagine a diffuser would be fine.
The diffuser seems to help me (stuffy all over) but could be in my head too. I can never tell.

At what age is it safe to use essential oil for babies? Any recommendations for what type of oil to use to help my 8 month old DD breathe better at night while she has a runny nose?

Thanks!
