I'd get the 7s. My DD wore boots that were too big, but they never slipped off and she loved them! I just put her in thicker socks.

7!

M was in 3s at the beginning of summer so I bought a pair of boots for winter in 5 thinking I should be good. I'm thinking they'll be more fall boots now. Hopefully. :(

@Mrs. Pen: They are... yeah, definitely for winter. haha. Not remotely neutral.

Ugh! This is so hard! She's been in 5s for a bit, but she does have 1 pair that are a little snug. I think I'm going to go with the 7s, to be safe. She tends to go through massive growth spurts and shoot up overnight.

I'm scared to buy shoes in advance! J still fits in a 4 just fine, but I bought his sandals this year in a 5 and they should fit through the summer. But I don't think he'll be a 6 this fall because he's been in a 4 for 6 months! I am scared that one day he'll just have a huge growth spurt and go through two shoe sizes!

I think I might buy in advance in they were a neutral shoe like converse that can be worn any season??

If I were you I'd get the 6 but like pp's said, thick, knit socks would be the way to go for the winter! So maybe 7 hahaha.

it really depends on the child. charlie went from a 4 - 5 - 6 -7 in a matter of months. but olive's feet are growing much slower, and if i bought 2 sizes up for her now for winter, it would be too big. so i don't like buying shoes in advance!

I would probably get the 7 just to be sure, even if they are a little big. My LO's feet grow so fast, we are constantly having to get him new shoes.

You just never know. She will be in one size for 5 months and the next for just 1 month. I think I'd rather them be a little big though, you could always put thick socks under them.

C currently wears a 5W. I found a pair of CUTE winter boots for her. The lady has a 6 and a 7 and I'm trying to decide which to buy.

Which would you get? I currently have the 6s on hold but I'm waffling about getting the 7s instead.
