I know it will be on the small side and I know most of my out of town family and friends can't make it. But I've never had a surprise party before and a few gifts have started to roll in...am I supposed to send a thank you immediately? I assume yes because I always do, but I don't know if they are coming to the shower so it's a little awkward - do I send another one if they do end up coming to thank them for coming?
