Sudocrem for any kind of rash or scratch, Arnicare for bruises and the most amazing product for eczema Mustela. I can't say enough good things about Mustela, it's a French brand that's hard to find in the UK but it's honestly amazing for clearing eczema, better than steroid creams in my opinion. You may be able to get it on Amazon:

http://www.mustela.com

Kinder surprise eggs are taken really seriously at the US/Canada border in WA state. They will specifically ask if you have them and will confiscate! Apparently it is a $2,500 fine PER EGG. Whaaaaaaaaaaaat!

@looch: When he first started watching them, I thought they were really creepy. Good to know that they can be found here, I will have to look for them, just so he can open at least 1. Right now, I will fill his Easter eggs with wood pieces from his train set and let him open them. He likes the process so much, he will request to open eggs about 3 to 4 times a day (he doesn't even care that it's the same toy pieces over and over again).

Whenever we visit friends in the US we have the suitcase full of candy: chocolates, haribos and other goodies.

Baby gear related: we got lots and lots of questions where one could buy our stroller in the US. And people were always so sad when we told them it's from Germany.
http://www.hartan.de/en/kinderwagen.php?modell=racer-gt&spr=eng

Also all pampers products here are without perfume. I nearly fell over backwards the first time I unpacked an American pack.

Babycarrier: There's an Ergo style carrier here that already includes the infant insert:

@lil owl: kinder surprises are illegal in the states? Who knew?!

I don't think you can get a Jolly Jumper in the States? I was looking for one there as pretty much everything is cheaper but I couldn't find them anywhere.
There's the door frame one http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=2688484&foreSeeBrowseSampling=15&foreSeeBrowseLoyalty=1&foreSeeEnabled=true

Honestly, I have a hard time finding Euro products that I love compared to US products, and everything is SO much more expensive here. There are brands like Bugaboo, Baby Bjorn and Stokke that are European, but I don't think that's what you mean. And they aren't cheaper just because they are sold here. I have a lot of baby things shipped/brought to me from the US because I can't find similar items in price/quality.

The one thing I can think of are Naty Nature Babycare diapers. I normally use gDiapers (shipped from the UK), but I like these green disposables for when we travel or when my son was still in diapers at daycare.

most of the European baby products are also sold in the US. There are some small organic brands, or small businesses like this (http://www.nasensauger.de like a NoseFrida that you attach to your vacuum cleaner) that I haven't found in the US so far...

I'm in Canada and the only think I can think of that is easier to get here is domperidone...

I might be wrong but I get the impression it is less commonly prescribed in the USA?

We're in Canada. I go to the US for a ton of stuff we don't have here. Can't find California Baby here and I love it.

We get Bonds Wondersuit sleepers from Australia that I love. They're french terry and really snuggly.

I swore by pain relieving suppositories until 24 months, I hadn't ever seen them in the US before, but I know you can get them here as well.

I also have a magical decongestant that can be used on toddlers, as well as Similisan granules for homeopathic use. I also have a really great arnica gel that I used for bruises, it worked well, but I am convinced that it's also the massage application that made the difference.

oh, and toothpaste for kids. I can't find one that's not fruit or candy flavored,so I buy tubes from Europe, just plain mint, no sugar added.

As far as gear, though, the US has more selection.
