@kiddosc: yeah, my 3 year old is 33lbs so I'm not worried about the weight limit. She'll probably outgrow the height before the weight!

Do boosters without backs have an expiration? I mean, the whole point of that is boost them higher up so the can use the car seat belt at the right height, right? Realistically, if I can get 6 years out of this I'll be very happy!

We have the maestro and we love it! It comes with a cupholder, and the kids are really comfortable in it. I recommend!

@looch: We use our maestro as our travel carseat. No complaints!

I am curious if I can use the Maestro as a travel seat...my son just hit 40 pounds at 4.5 years old. I suppose my other choice is to put him in a belted booster when we travel, but I am not so comfortable with that, to be honest, and I would rather not bring my Frontier.

We're looking to upgrade grandma's carseat from the scenera also. The chase can only be used as a 5 point harness to 40 lbs, my 3 year old is almost that limit already which is why we're getting a new seat. The maestro goes to 50, which might still be a little low for my liking, but your girls may be smaller. We're probably going to go with the harmony defender, even if it's a little more expensive. The defender has a 10 year expiration and the evenflo seats only have a 6 year expiration. I'm hoping to use this seat for two kids (just buy and inexpensive booster when younger needs this seat) and the shorter expiration wouldn't get us there.

DD1 is outgrowing her Cosco Scenera in my ILs car so I need to get her a harnessed booster. I'm looking at the Evenflo Chase or Maestro. The specs look virtually the same to me but the Maestro looks like it's a step up in terms of comfort. I'm leaning towards the Maestro.

Looking for some Bee user input in terms of getting your child in and out, seatbelt twisting if any etc, easy to re/install?

Do you have a recommendation for another harnessed booster in the $80 and under range?

Thanks!
