Even going out to dinner turns out to make bedtime an hour later. We will do dinner out with family during the week to celebrate special occasions days but that isn't anything regular. So she's doing ballet and soccer in the fall which will both take place on school nights. On Thursday night a friend is having a big show at a nearby museum, and we really want to go to support him... but I wonder if the kids will get much out of it, and if the disruption to their routine is worth it. The event starts at 6:30 and is walkable from our home, so maybe it won't be so bad.</p> <p>What do you think about evening activities on a school night? </p>
