I would. It's summer and it's walking distance.

my LO hasn't even been born yet and I'm picky about weeknight activities. The later my bedtime becomes, the harder it is to wake up in the morning!

When my son has to wake early during the week, we try to limit activities of any kind. Even going out to dinner turns out to make bedtime an hour later. It's not worth it to me right now.

I wouldn't mind an evening event on a school night!

We haven't started school yet, but I think we wouldn't mind doing something occasionally. Too much messing with LOs schedule never works out for us, so it definitely wouldn't be a regular thing.

We currently have soccer every Wednesday night. We will do dinner out with family during the week to celebrate special occasions days but that isn't anything regular. DH and his brothers work most weekends so we have to do stuff during the week.

We only do school night activities that are for our LO. So she's doing ballet and soccer in the fall which will both take place on school nights. Something that's not specifically for the kid is not worth it to me during the week, we would just get a baby sitter if it was something we wanted to do.

Not sure how I feel about doing evening activities on a school night. On Thursday night a friend is having a big show at a nearby museum, and we really want to go to support him... but I wonder if the kids will get much out of it, and if the disruption to their routine is worth it. The event starts at 6:30 and is walkable from our home, so maybe it won't be so bad.

What do you think about evening activities on a school night?
