My labor and delivery and recovery went excellent, but of course I don't know if the two things are related. Midwife said to take 1-2 orally in morning and 1-2 vaginally in evening. I only did the evening ones for a week and then I stopped because I did not enjoy the feeling of oil leaking out...I continued taking it orally until I went in to be induced at 42 weeks. I got a few cervical checks and was told my cervix was very soft so it may have made a difference in that regard-which is what it is supposed to help with! I had a 12 hr labor (induced) with only 4 hrs of painful labor and 5 mins of pushing. I ended up hemmrhidging directly after giving birth lost about a liter of blood. Don't know if it was related to the EPO but I've read online it may cause pph. Then at 38 weeks I started taking 4 capsules daily, and 2 vaginally.
