Did some walking around in the old town and I think a tour of a fort. We went to El Yunque rainforest which I HIGHLY recommend. We did a tour of the Bacardi distillery which was great. And a bunch of beach time. It was a fabulous and easy trip. You can do a lot that is not beach related if you want. The bioluminescent bay tour is amazing, plus you can hike the rainforest and/or visit the Arecibo Observatory (as seen in GoldenEye and Contact). Although the beach in Culebra was probably the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. It's SO nice because you don't have to worry much about language and currency, yet it still feels like a different country!</p> <p>There are PLENTY of things to do besides beach time. Definitely look into bioluminscent bay trips (it was closed when I went - I was so bummed!). Old San Juan is the historic part of the capital, and it's very beautiful and interesting. We also went on a tour to the El Yunque Rainforest, which was okay. So think of glow sticks that light up when you touch it and dim when there's no contact. Then relight when you touch it again. I've never been to the one in PR, but have in Jamaica. There's quite a bit of tequila factories you can visit or a few nature preserve places. Awesome thing about Puerto Rico - you can use your cell like normal and not get charged for roaming fees.
