Our community group from church threw us a surprise shower, as did my work. We got Target gift cards at both and were able to finish off all the needs on our registry with them. I also got a random Target gift card from a cousin I haven't seen since I was 6 or 7! She was her first great grandchild so she talked about lo constantly to her friends and they all were so excited for her. My third graders, their parents, and my co-teacher threw me a really touching baby shower yesterday. The kids all made really thoughtful cards, and several gifted many sweet outfits, booties, photo frames, and infant toys. The classroom bought the City Mini stroller from our registry. I saw a new dentist right before our wedding in June 2011 to fix a chipped tooth just days before we wed. I loved her and DH started seeing her too. Their office is so excited that we are pregnant and we just got the cutest blue lamb Angel Dear lovey and rattle from their office saying they can't wait to meet him with a nice card. Such a sweet, unexpected surprise. Have you ever been totally surprised by a sweet gesture? </p>
