What a mess. My daughter loves scary stories so we picked it but then for various reasons, she didn't want to listen to this one so I read it to my son instead. Lesson learned!!</p> <p>In related news, my son saw the scene in Harry Potter 2 where they find the opening of the Chamber of Secrets in Moaning Myrtle's bathroom... and now he worries that we have basilisks in our bathroom.</p> <p>Have you ever had a scary story backfire? </p>
