My LO is like that too. He slept through the night last night--9p-730a with no wakeups. The previous two nights he slept about 930-4 and then fed, and went back down until I woke him up to go to work. But the previous night he was up almost every hour without fail! It was terrible. I'm just trying to be patient.

Mine did that at 6 weeks. After about a week, he settled into sttn. Hopefully the good nights will win out for you too!

I'm sorry that stinks! I feel like around that time (4-6 months) there are many sleep regressions so it's hard to say if it's a pattern or just something she's going through.

She's about four and a half months old now. She just started rolling back to front the other day plus we're fairly certain she's getting close to cutting a tooth (she's chewing everything and fussy a lot). We took a break from sleep training due to these two things happening at the same time.

We try to start her routine around 6:30-7 every night but she goes to sleep anywhere from 7:15-10 and then sleeps anywhere from 3-9 hours straight. We'll just keep up the routine plus we'll get back into sleep training either tomorrow or Monday and see what happens.

NOt sure how old your LO is but our son (almost 4 mos) is very much like this. The other night he slept 3 hours, then 5, then 3. Last night he slept 4, then was up every 2 hours after that. We also do the same routine at night and try to stick to a 7pm-ish bedtime. I think it has a lot to do with his teething and also how well he naps during the day.

There definitely was a period when the schedule was emerging but not totally consistent for us.. It's really hard to say whether your every other day observation is a real pattern. I would stick to your routine and hopefully it will get more consistent!

Every other night, LO's sleep is awful and the other nights, it's great. We don't do anything differently so I don't know why this is happening.

Thursday night she slept 8 hours then 2 more. Last night she slept 3 then 3, then woke up at 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, and finally 7. We start her bedtime routine at the same time or earlier if she's tired and it's the same routine every night. We have the heat set on the same temperature but it might vary a bit depending on the temperature outside?

It's pretty consistently every other night though. Has anyone else had this happen?
