@SupernovaJ: I always check when I wipe, and you can see it's super shiny... kind of clear slime?... but it looks just like egg whites. This might be TMI, but I notice it a lot more when I wipe right after I poo - it helps to push it out? (sorry for the tmi)

Wipe before and after you use the toilet, shower, swim etc. When you first notice the EWCM you have started your fertile phase. Usually they say it has to streatch 1+ inches and has to be clear/cloudy or just clear for it to be peak CM. As soon as the CM drys up you have 3 days till you are no longer fertile and its safe to have sex without getting pregnant. Best time to bd is eod during that time.

Looks like I'll have to do the wipe test / check cervix position. Thinking back, yes, there were times I wiped and it was just really slick and slippery and the cm didn't absorb into the tp. Thank you!!

Mine is pretty obvious, too.

Do you check your cervix? Checking the position helps to determine if it matches up with the CM. That way you know what your CM looks like when you're fertile.

Same as the others - I've seen it when I wipe and it definitely looked and had the consistency of egg whites. I have no idea what it does once it's in the toilet. I'm also not sure I've notice it "fall" into the toilet when I'm peeing, although it's been a while since I paid any attention. When I was TTC, I would wipe before peeing so that I could check the consistency of my CM, so it didn't have a chance to come out on its own.

Same as @LovelyPlum. I see it when I wipe. Cloudy clear and literally looks like Egg Whites. The same sloopy, sliding consistency. I have noticed it in the toilet that it clumps together and looks white-ish.

Hmmm, I've never looked at what it does when it hits the toilet. I may be in the minority, but I've also never "reached up there," so to speak. I wipe both before and after I pee, and I do touch it/stretch it out. Mine is slippery and more clear (sometimes cloudy-clear), and it does feel pretty wet. Some days, it goes away pretty quickly with a few wipes. At least once a cycle, though, it stays pretty much all day.

Others' experiences may be different, but my EWCM is pretty obvious, once I knew what to look for.

Baby dust to you!

I'm sure there are lots of posts on this already, but I'm wondering what EWCM looks like. I've googled images and yes, it does look like egg whites - but that's only if you reach in there and pull it out and play with it / stretch it out between your fingers...haha. And I have yet to do that, because I never paid attention until now.

DH and I just recently started to TTC which has led me to analyze all sorts of things about my bodily secretions...hee. I've always had a lot of CF in general. But regarding EWCM when you're using the restroom, is it the stuff that sometimes forms balls / clumps and sinks in the toilet?? I've heard it described as "clear" many times, but when it ends up in the toilet, it's usually an opaque clump that doesn't break apart. Is that EWCM? Whatever it is, if I don't have a panty liner on those days I'm producing EWCM or if it doesn't happen to fall into the toilet during tinkling, it can feel really wet and gross when it decides to just...plop out. So I'm wondering if that's it...?
