Okay, whelp, never mind. I have had weird dry-mouth for the last 12 hours, so complete turnaround from excess saliva. Ha! My body is being so weird.

I am just going to chalk all of this up to jet-lag and move on!

@mrs. wagon: Thanks for your response! Yes, I have read that quite a few women get excess saliva when pregnant. I had NO IDEA! So bizarre. It was definitely like that feeling when you are about to throw up, but it was just that (no actual vomiting). Strange. And it is gone now.

Hmm. We'll see, I suppose. I think I am only 8dpo, so it could just be post-O and pre-AF symptoms. Who knows!

I had excess saliva during my first trimester, which either caused or was caused by morning sickness. Just a thought to throw out there. :)

@ineebee: Possibly! I honestly have no idea. So bizarre. I imagine it is just because I am coming down with something, or super jet-lagged still. Bodies are weird things :)

Hopefully in your case it means good things!!

That's really weird! I've been TTC for over a year, and for the first time this cycle, I noticed crazy mucus and saliva ever since I O'd! Most likely for both of us, it's a mild cold or something and our immune systems are creating antibodies...? That's how it works, right?? :)

Thanks, @Mrsbells! Yeah, I am sure it is nothing. It was just SO strange and out of the ordinary for me that of course I had to Google it, and once I did it came up as a possibly pregnancy "symptom" which made me freak out :) Ha. I imagine it is just because I am tired with jet-leg, and am all emotional due to AF coming next week.

Does anyone get excess saliva after O/pre-period? This never happens to me, but on Monday and Tuesday (about 4 and 5 dpo) I had a huge amount of excess saliva (sorry that is super weird/tmi!). You know how it gets right before you throw up? Sort of like that, except it was just constant for a few days.

Of course, now I am freaking out about being pregnant (we aren't TTC), and I will feel so silly when I get my period, but just thought I would see what others' have to say about this. It was just weird since I never get that! It may be because I am jet-legged...
