I even had to twist the buckle stalk to make it shorter &amp; then practically STAND IN the seat to get enough weight on it to rebuckle the belt! The only questionable part is the manual said the clip needed to be 1/2 an inch from the buckle but I couldn't get it that close..... a tech had mentioned 1" &amp; I was able to do that! So fast forward to a few days ago... we found an 11 passenger Ford van at the Dodge dealer, yay! We got approved for it &amp; while we were getting paperwork another salesman SOLD IT! *oh no*. We didn't sweat it though &amp; just stuck to knowing that God would fulfill the need He knew we had when we needed it filled (never late, always on time). Well the dealership decided to go to auction just for us since they sold *our* van! We ended up with a newer model (2013) with fewer mile (around 20k) for LESS money (just at 20k).</p> <p>My mom got the keys the day before last! I also snagged/tore the seat of our brand new van! Even better it was super hot &amp; I was so nauseous trying to do it... Of course my mom doesn't know we're expecting so I had to just keep it to myself. She kept saying the seat seemed fine to her (she barely tugged it) &amp; that I was just pulling it to hard. Le sigh.</p> <p>I'm gonna post here shortly some pics &amp; such on the car seat group to see if I can get some direction &amp; we'll probably be seeing one of our local techs soon so I can get some hands on troubleshooting! </p> <p>Car seat install is definitely harder than it seems!
