@Keybee: @MrsKRB: @littlejoy: this is so amazing to me that even a small amount of exercise can affect your cycle so much.

I've been biking and working out a lot the last few months (minus the past few weeks, because I was sick). I'm currently 4 days late, and not pregnant ... so maybe?? I know before getting pregnant with LO1, I was encouraged to lose 10 pounds by exercising, and it messed with my cycle then too.

@mediagirl: I am interested in this - have just started back at the gym. Pretty sure my muscles are wondering what's going on, so hopefully my cycles don't go wonky! Was pretty regular 28-29 days prior to a recent loss so just waiting for it to return...

I've never noticed a difference! I'm hoping to get back to the gym soon and start TTC again, so I'll have to pay attention.

When I exercise I always ovulate earlier (cd 13 vs cd15 or 16)

That didn't happen in my case. I've gone three months without a period before, both during a time when I was exercising regularly and when I wasn't.

Do you notice that when you start a workout routine after you haven't worked out in forever that your cycle gets all wonky?
