Has anyone tried something like this? It looks like what you'd get if an exersaucer and a jumperoo had a baby.

@travelingbrit: My little guy also has a mild case and our PT recommended that we keep him out of the exersaucer and focus on tummy time until his neck got stronger (this was at around 4.5 months). By 6 months there was a big improvement in the torticollis so we busted the exersaucer out again.

@buffalove: Is there an issue with torticollis and these things? DS has a mild case that we are watching and doing tummy time. ETA actually i think what he has is plagiocephaly

We have both. If I had to choose one, I'd say go for the jumperoo for the simple fact that it's much more compact and easier to store and is portable. We've taken it to Christmas at my husband's grandparents, my parents house, my inlaws, etc. So easy to just throw in the car and hook to a door frame when we get there.

That being said, I do also like our exersaucer because we can use it without a door frame. We like being outside so it's nice to be able to plop it in the yard and keep the baby happy while she feels the grass under her toes and we get some yard work done. We also use it in our living room which doesn't have a door frame to use.

We have an exesaucer that can be used in 3 stages. I really doubt we'll use it in any other stages, but I do like that there's a feature where LO can bounce in it. DH didn't want to get a Jumperoo because he was worried it was too dangerous.

We have both and DS loves them! He started using them at 6 months, could really have started earlier but we waited a bit b/c he had torticollis. I probably wouldnt have bought both brand new, but the jumperoo was a hand me down.

We have a jumperoo and my LO absolutely loves it. It was and has been one of her favorite toys. We got it once she could hold her head up, which was maybe at around 3.5-4 months. We bought it new but was worth it, in my book. We have the Fisher Price Rainforest one, which I highly recommend.

We have both. She was able to use the exersaucer around 3-3.5 months because she's always been pretty long so she fit pretty well (my brother bought it for her before she was born). She loved/loves it. She got her jumperoo for Christmas from my dad and she absolutely loves jumping up and down in it plus it seems like it'll last longer as far as height goes. If I had to buy one, I'd probably buy the jumperoo but we've gotten use out of both.

We got a used exersaucer after using one at my IL's at 10 months old. He loves it, and while it isn't specifically made for jumping, it has some bounce to it and he goes bananas. It is so nice to use to keep him in one place for a little bit when he is into everything. They are huge though, I can't imagine having both.
