Naps! And letting my husband take over wherever possible. Sometimes that meant takeout multiple times per week in the first tri. I would just come home from teaching and crash for three hours. Light exercise did also help when I could manage it.

You can do it! It does fade! In the meantime, listen to your body.

I am so struggling with this. 9 days of teaching left and I am barely making it...to the point where the kids are noticing how "burnt out" I am. Hours of work to do, late night graduation ceremonies, business (I have my own business too) is getting neglected, and all I want to do is sleeepppp :/ I am barely fulfilling my basic tasks that I have to do right now.. Not even talking about things to do at home that need to get done

I used to have to get up and walk around a bit at work to keep from passing out on my keyboard. On days when I just couldn't take it anymore, I'd get a small cup of coffee or tea. Just a tiny bit of caffeine to help me through. I also give you props for making dinner. I'd come home and zonk out on the couch. Poor DH was on dinner duty all by himself for like 6 weeks.

I nap whenever I can, go to bed early etc. But having a toddler is making matters worse actually. But good news, it's not gonna last for the whole pregnancy. So hang in there.

It sucks. I can't nap at work unfortunately. I just try power through and try to make it until 9 p.m. It's impossible for me to get out of bed before 7 a.m. While normally I get to work at 8 a.m. lately I have been strolling in at 9 or 9:15.

I'm 12 weeks and while I think I overall have more energy, I'm still pretty tired.

Isn't it crazy? I'm normally a high-energy person, so it was crazy for me. And I rely on an afternoon tea for tired weeks, but pregnancy made me say no to caffeine.

How did I deal? I faked it when I was in public and I let myself slack off whenever I could.

I don't even have the energy to make dinner most nights.... so sad. I go to bed pretty early and try to get some rest while my daughter takes a nap.

I've been getting worse, I was just somewhat tired a month ago but now at 9 weeks it's gotten severe, more than exhaustion. My whole body is fatigued. I'm going to try new prenatals and see if that helps.
But I've been going to bed at 8, waking up at 5 with my LO, and napping when he naps.

I so miss coffee right now!

Wow, you're actually making dinner? I'm impressed! I can't deal with the sleepiness, it's so draining. I sit at work and just try to drink some water or walk around if I feel like I'm going to fall asleep. At home, I just go to bed. 7pm? No problem. Good night world. Haha. My biggest problem right now is I can't make plans with anyone because I don't want to make plans and then be too exhausted to hang out that night!

How do you deal with exhaustion? I'm not yet 5 weeks and have been overcome by major episodes of exhaustion. Last night, while cooking dinner, I could not hold my eyes open. I literally ate my food with my head resting on the table.

And then randomly at work, I get soooo tired. I've tried to sneak into my car when I'm super tired, but that's not always possible!

How do you deal?
