<description>&#60;p&#62;i'm not sure. in short, it depends on the country program and the agency from which you are adopting. because you are american, i would think you'd have to go through a US agency, so i might start by contacting some US agencies and asking them some of your questions. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;as silly as it sounds, do a google search of international adoption agencies that work with your state and call or email them. if you want, you can email me at cowgirl[at]hellobee[dot]com and i can share the name and information from the agency we used. they are a very large agency with several international programs.&#60;/p&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;I know there are a few adoption experts or at least heavily researched people here, so I'd love some input on this. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We're aid workers, which means we typically live overseas. We're back in the USA right now, but next year we'll be moving to Kosovo where we'll be for 6-12 years (with three month visits to the USA every two years). &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;During that period of time we would very much like to adopt internationally, but I don't know what the process would be for someone living overseas. I'm not even sure if it's possible. Could we even get a home study and everything else required as a prerequisite while living overseas?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I'm not sure where to begin...
