My DD will be 28 months when #2 is born, and she already hates being in the stroller so we rarely use it. I think our plan is to buy a stroller/buggy board that she can stand on behind the stroller if she gets tired of walking.

We have the bumbleride indie twin (a side by side stroller) and we still have our uppababy umbrella stroller and bugaboo bee. I love them all and we use them all depending on the situation.
When I take our oldest to daycare I use the uppababy umbrella. When I'm out just with the newborn, we will use the bugaboo with car seat adaptor when I don't feel like wearing him. When we are out on a longer day with both kids, we use the bumbleride.

We have the city mini double GT and I flipping love it. I've had my daughter in it since she was a week old and just fully reclined it. I'm glad I never bought the car seat adapter since I've read that it sucks. We have a frame stroller also for places I don't want to bust out the double, and I also wear my youngest a lot .

We bought the City Select (traded our B-Agile) and plan to add the infant seat adapter and then possibly a second seat if DS still wants to ride in the stroller next year.

I think I will use the rumble seat for our UBV since I'm not anticipating DD #1 wanting to be in the stroller a ton, so hopefully that will suffice! I might be a used BOB duallie for longer walks ... But that's a big maybe.

I also had the chicco travel system with my first and really didn't like it. We bought the city mini GT double stroller to use with both boys. I've only used it once so far but it went well!

thank you all for sharing your $0.02

@Rubies: i definitely don't want to use the chicco travel system with #2 (i thought it was too bulky). i'm leaning more towards what you are describing...

With DD1, we had a bulky Graco travel system and I decided I wasn't going to use it again with #2. So, when #2 came (my kids are 26 months apart), I bought a snap'n'go and strolled her around while DH strolled DD1 in the umbrella stroller OR walked with/carried her.

When DD2 turned 5-6 months, and we had both kids out, we used our double stroller (we bought the Britax B-Agile double), which we love.

When I have just DD2, I take her out in our City Mini single, that I bought new on super sale (2012 model).

We bought a Britax B-Ready for #1 because we knew we wanted two kids close in age. We  it.

We are using the rumble seat on our UBV. I'll probably wear #2 for most of the winter.

My kids are 16 months apart and we bought a double stroller. City Mini GT. DH works a lot of weird hours so I would not be able to handle two strollers and I don't like babywearing that much. LO 1 started walking the month before the baby was born so she wasn't ready to walk everywhere.

we have a city mini with the infant seat adapter.

i think we are leaning toward a britax b agile double because it's the closest thing to city mini (the city mini double adapter stinks, from what I have heard). we need a new infant seat anyway, so a britax would fit right in.

my DS is 17.5 months old and we are expecting #2 in October...

right now we have the Chicco travel system...i'm not exactly sure what to do with strollers when #2 arrives.

i've seen some folks walk around with two strollers (one for their newborn/infant and a 2nd stroller for their toddler) and i've also seen other families that have a double stroller (with the infant seat attachment).

what have you done? or what will you plan to do (if you are expecting #2)?
