I am excited for LO to get a sibling and have someone new to interact with.

Right now my biggest worry is that we find out this baby has some major issue or something that requires more than my sanity can handle.

I'm in the same boat! Super excited by the prospect of this new baby all squishy but also scared of the prospect of jealousy and trying to manage a toddler and a newborn on very little sleep. I also worry about readjusting to the level of dependence tiny babies have on one. Babysitting for my son and a child a year younger than him was somewhat reassuring but she was already 7 months at that time so a bit more independent.

I feel like it will be a bootcamp but just like with my son, eventually we will all adapt and become like pros. Or at least that's what I'm hoping!

@sorrycharlie: Ha! You're the first person to make me feel a little glad that E was *not* an easy newborn. Let's say my expectations with a newborn + an 18 month old are....really low. :p

I'm anticipating a really hard 6 months. But, knowing what I know now is going to be a huge asset. I know now that the hard times won't last forever and that things change no matter what I do or don't do!

I'm excited mostly (to have a newborn, for LO to be a big sister, etc.)! But, I'm also a bit terrified thinking how I'm going to manage things with a very active toddler around. I'm due next week and of course she tried climbing out of her crib for the first time yesterday! Oh the timing!

Uh, yeah, I'm starting to get a little nervous about newborn stage with a toddler around. It was kind of fun when L got 100% of my attention. I don't know how fun it will be when L is more demanding than the newborn!

I'm excited to have another little newborn around! I got sucked down memory lane today going through old pictures of O.

I'm really nervous about how she will adjust, and how I will adjust to two! I found newborn days really easy with O, but I had the "luxury" of "free time" to clean, eat, sleep when she did. Will not be the case with a toddler!
