I ended up not having it as I didn't think that the knowledge that we would gain from the test was worth the small risk. I told him to just insert the needle! I held onto DH's hand VERY tightly!!!!</p> <p>The 1st time wasn't all that bad - a little pressure is all but then the sac moved and he didn't have enough fluid and so he had to stick me again and for some reason that one hurt a little and was uncomfortable - luckily though it just took a min to pull up the fluid and then he was done!</p> <p>Best of luck with your amnio and I hope you get good results! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/experience-with-amnios#post-1455132 Thu, 27 Feb 2014 14:44:43 +0000 littleredhairedgrl 1455132@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>any ladies have advice regarding amnios? my mfm wants us to do one as they found echogenic bowel during my anatomy scan today. they told us not to worry but that we should do the test just to be sure as a precaution. mostly nervous about the needle and the risks. </p>
