I had high blood pressure with my first and I was so nervous about being induced 2 weeks early but she explained everything that was going to happen and made sure he arrived as safely as possible. With my second, I credit her for having the smoothest delivery! I didn't tear and walked out of the hospital 24 hrs later feeling awesome! I moved out of the city so I have a new doctor for my third (due in 5 weeks) and I am so sad I won't have Dr Wu! </p> <p>Is she super warm and fuzzy? I chose Dr. Wu for same reason as you, insurance. And I’m actually really happy that I ended up with her though it wasn’t my first “choice”. And I’m at the same practice so it could still end up being Dobrenis that delivers. My current doctor always makes me feel rushed and just doesn't make me feel comfortable talking to him. I like warm and fuzzy/bedside manner so I was worried about the same reviews. I think she’s WONDERFUL. I can’t understand how anyone said she was cold and abrupt. If anything she is too detailed (which I think isn’t really possible). She has been lovely so far and very thorough.<br /> My only complaint is that I’ve had a long wait for her (like she saw me an hour after my appt time) but she was very very apologetic and after meeting her I realized it was likely because she doesn’t want to rush her patients out. Has anyone had any personal experience with Dr. Sidney Wu at Weill Cornell? I was referred to her group, that also includes Drs. Dobrenis, Hockstein and Leonard, but Dr. Wu is the only one who accepts my insurance. Both my friend and reviews i've found say while she is very good and knows what's she's doing she's a bit cold/abrupt. Does anyone have personal experience? Can you share your opinion? </p>
