Just got back from the doctor. Not warts! Like I said, Google wasn't showing many images like what I have. It's something called Pernio (chilblains). Now that my doctor diagnosed, I totally see that it looks like little spots of frostbite (like little dark bruises). It's a condition related to circulation, and tends to show itself more in nursing moms. Anyone else have this?

I got one in college and had to get it cut out - it was on my big toe on the bottom and hurt when I walked but I didn't have any radiating pain - hope you get it taken care of!

I had one in high school and it was painful to put any pressure on it. My dermatologist had me apply some kind of acidic treatment that literally ate away at the callous formation to then remove the wart. The treatment didn't hurt, but it's kind of gross, for sure.

I had plantar warts in middle school. They were very painful, but like @Corduroy said, definitely localized to the area of the wart. Mine did not look like bruises, they looked more like calluses, I think. I was also treated by a podiatrist. I hope you get some answers soon. The type of pain you're describing sounds unpleasant!

I've struggled with plantar warts for years. I've had them lasered by a podiatrist twice. Once in junior high and once in high school. I forget why we went with podiatrist over dermatologist. I saw a dermatologist for other warts at the same time.

They hurt since they are growing inside your foot. I wouldn't describe the pain I had as radiating nerve pain. It's pretty localized to the area of the warts. Maybe I'm forgetting what it felt like before the laser treatment since it has been a while.

I know, I know ... Who wants to talk about this? I have an appointment with my dermatologist tomorrow to look at two spots on my toes (bottom of my toes), that I think are plantar warts. They look like tiny bruises, and hurt pretty badly. Honestly, they don't look like the photos online, but my dermatologist will diagnose.

My question is about pain, specially nerve type pain. For the past month, I'm getting wierd shooting pains in my feet (radiating from toes and heels) when I point or flex my feet. Anyone with plantar warts also have this odd nerve type pain?

Ok, off to feel like a hypochondriac all day.
