She has always been a good sleeper, but there were nights when she would sleep so long that the swing would auto turn off (after 10ish hours).<br /> **When she's tired, but doesn't want to nap I'm still able to put her in the mamaroo @ 6 mo. with a paci and she'll fall asleep after 10-15 min.<br /> **LOVE the noise machine on it. It's super loud and I like the "ocean" setting. If you have this in your nursery, you wont need another sound machine.</p> <p>Cons:<br /> **We had to exchange it because after only a couple of months it made an awful screeching noise. Apparently this is a common issue (what we were told at BBB), so if you're going to buy it make sure you buy it from a store with a good return policy or, register it ASAP with the manufacturer.<br /> **LO isn't super amused by it. The little egg things on top have never really held her attention.. we've never used it to entertain her, just as a sleep tool.</p> <p>I would buy it again because it helped me sleep those first 3 months.. like bought me HOURS of sleep. If you're looking for more of an entertainment swing, this isn't for you. LO has a snugga bunny at her grandparent's house which she LOVES. When she was little she used to coo to her reflection in the mirror and now that she's older she laughs and kicks her feet. We received ours as a gift. LO hated it at first. It rocks really slowly, the fastest setting still wasn't good enough. We used it for about 2 months. My LO preferred her cheapo rocker that we has to push ourselves. My LO used one when we were over at a friend's house and he seemed fine in it, but he wouldn't fall asleep like he did in the swing. My LO didn't like it. Like wouldn't even give it a chance. It seemed to be way too slow to soothe him enough o balance out being irritated about being strapped in. The snugga bunny he at least tolerated though it wasn't the magical nap machine I had read and hoped for.
