I don't have the Paraguard brand, but I do have a copper IUD (different brand in Europe). For me, I had very heavy bleeding the week after insertion (about 8 weeks pp) and I think it jump-started my period (I was and am still EBF). The first three periods were really heavy, but no crazy cramping. The last few have been more like my normal periods. They are only slightly heavier and longer, but no cramping or pain. Neither my SO or I feel it when DTD.

I love mine. I had one pre LO too, and the insertion was so easy for the second one. I never feel it and love that it has no hormones. My period isn't extra heavy this time. When I had it pre-baby it was only heavier the first few cycles.

I've had one since January. I'm still breastfeeding so I haven't had any bleeding. I think it's great. I haven't gained any weight, been extra cranky, or any of the other hormone relayed things that happen. I CAN occasionally feel it when DTD but it isn't anything to stop over and DH says he can't. I vote yes!

I was going to have a paraguard but decided against it after I read too many stories of heavy bleeding and migration. Can't speak personally having it, just my own research! I really wanted a no hormone option.

Do you have one? Do you like it? We are exploring options for family planning, and I'm just not sure what to do. I like that Paraguard has no hormones, and I would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance :)
