You just click at the top of the page if it does and then you don't have to go to the Ebates site. </p> <p>The tradeoff is that it probably tracks your history, and you're stuck with these notifications until you click. When you make a purchase, the referral link notifies Ebates you made a purchase for X amount. Ebates will then give you a percentage cash back on the dollar amount you spent. The percentage is pre-set by ebates and can change at any time. At the end of each quarter, Ebates will mail you a check for all the cash back you've earned. I go to Ebates first, search for Macys and click to Macys THROUGH Ebates. Then I will get back 14% of my total purchase at Macys. Every quarter they send you a big fat check. It costs you nothing!</p> <p>Macys isn't usually 14% cashback though it's part of Ebates birthday promotion.
