I think it's more than most of the months before he turned 1. It's worse now that he knows how to ask for it or (even better) get to it himself. My daughter is not making the transition to less very easily. She still frequently doesn't eat enough and then wakes up hungry overnight, even though we haven't nursed at night since 13 months. She's also starting to actually throw tantrums, which is new. I think that before, her blood sugar was way more consistent due to nursing. My OB knows about it and hasn't said anything I needed to do differently. I do feel more hungry than I was with my first pregnancy though, and definitely more thirsty.
