we nursed 2-3 times a day at that age (every time she woke up), but there's a pretty big range and I think you guys are totally normal!

We just let Lala nurse on demand until we matched with M. (I think she was about 19 months old.) Then we switched to one session at bedtime, which we have then shortened until she was just "kissing the boobie goodnight".

With DS, by 12 months we were down to morning, before mid-morning nap, before bed time and sometimes once a night. What you're doing sounds fine unless you want to wean in the next month or so.

We're down to morning, mid-afternoon, and bedtime. And usually once at night. He had been doing a mid-morning session, too, but I've started dropping that one and he seems OK without it. He is just a few days shy of 1.

My LO is 14 months old and she nurses at around 5am, 10am, 3pm, 7pm. Sometimes she'll nurse around midnight too.

My son is over 1 year old now. On a good day nurses 5 times a day/night. He seems to need to nurse every 6 hours. Does this sound normal to you?

Approximate schedule
6:30 am - wakup and nurse
noon - nurse
5:30 pm - nurse
7:00 pm - nurse (most days right now) or 11 pm if I miss this
4:30 am - nurse

He eats all sorts of solids including meat but he doesn't drink milk. He has a milk replacement that he drinks at daycare about 8 oz a day.
