@lioneyes: My 4.5 year old isn't night trained yet and we use Pampers Goodnites. They have two different sizes, the S-M goes from 38lbs-65lbs. They work great and can hold a lot. We've been using them for about a year (since he was day trained).

Thanks all! He isn't close to out growing the 6's, but it's been a few months of wearing them, and when we started, they came up to his chest practically (that's what works for us I guess!) and now they are staring to actually fit, so I'm thinking ahead.

Target's brand up and up "overnight underwear" are like crazy absorbent, soft pull -ups. And they go up to something like 65 lbs. DS is 40lbs and in a S/M. They're awesome.

I have a big kid and she never needed to go beyond six. She wore an overnight diaper until she was three. We never used pull ups and we never used the actual "overnight" diapers - just Pampers Cruisers.

Honestly, I think he will just stay in the size 6 for a while. We have been noticing he's less wet in the morning (less of a need to "size up") and their growth slows way down as they get taller but not really bigger.

Do you feel like he is on the verge of outgrowing the 6's? I had a pretty big kid that never outgrew the size 6. But then once we were potty training we did pull ups which are larger.

I would try overnight pull-ups (we're currently using some for our 4 year old but there are larger sizes than even what we use). Those are made in large sizes and the Huggies brand (maybe others as well) actually have tabs on the sides so they can be used like a diaper if you prefer putting them on that way versus pulling them up.

DS is almost 2 and we are not planning on toilet training any time soon. He wears Pampers Baby Dry Extra Protection for overnights in size 6, the largest size. (Since he started sleeping through the night we have used this brand in 1 size larger than his daytime diapers, and have had great results). We have a few months before he outgrows them, but what comes next?!?!? They don't go up to size 7! What do you all recommend? Would prefer a disposable diaper (so, no insert) if at all possible.
