Currently they are light brown with a dark blue rim at the edge of each iris. This is not that surprising to me, as Mr. Jacks has what I call wolf-eyes, with yellow in the middle and blue on the outside and mine are light brown with a touch of green. This is what our pedi told us:</p> <p>You cannot be sure until after a year and they could change at any point, but if they are still blue at 6 months their chances of staying that way are greater.</p> <p>That being said, another doctor (non-pedi) told me that all 6 of his childrens eyes did not change until they were almost 2, but none of them went from blue to brown. They were blue when I was younger, but got more hazel in high school.</p> <p>My LO was born with brown eyes and they turned blue after the first couple of weeks, which is odd b/c usually they're born blue and turn brown. I started with blueish eyes, and throughout childhood they varied from shades of blue, hazel and greens. In the last few years they seem to have remained stuck on green. My hubs eyes are blue (as are both his parents) and mine are green (with 1 blue eyed parent and 1 green eyed parent). Odds are she'll end up keeping light eyes, but I'm secretly hoping they change from blue to green. So my question is, at what age did your child's eye color change? I've heard anywhere from 6-12 months, with the 12 month color almost always being their permanent color. Of course I wouldn't mind if her eyes were blue, I just thought it would be fun to see her looking at me with my eyes ;) </p>
