I get my eyebrows threaded once a month. I don't know if I got used to it or my threader is particularly good, but it doesn't hurt so much.
I love the results.

Ok I went today and it HURT! I was not expecting the whole process at all. She did take a lot off to shape them (my brows were rough!) but now they look awesome!! She did miss a few light hairs but I plan on going back. Woohoo!

I get mine threaded, and love it!! I prefer it over waxing. It's much more accurate.

Yay for threading! One thing to know is you will probably be asked to help pull your eyelid taut while the therapist works - it feels a bit awkward. It also means you might be be comfortable not wearing contacts (mine feel weird when I'm pushing on my eye). It's so quick though; mine literally take about 2 mins!

i love getting threaded! i find it hurts more or less depending on who does it. the last time i got it done it hardly hurt at all, but i've had experiences where my eyes would water :)

i like it a lot more than waxing because of the preciseness (i can ask them to go over a certain spot again if i didn't like it), and also because it doesn't hurt my skin, whereas waxing has given me red, ouchy, even bruised/scabby skin in the past. :)

It's the only way I get my eyebrows done! It stings, but it's so much more accurate and the shape is better.

I've learned that usually those that are better at it don't hurt you as much. I really like how my eyebrows look after, but for me the results only last 3 weeks at best.

It stings and takes longer. My sister always puts on antibiotic ointment afterwards to help with redness and irritation.

I get my brows threaded only, never waxed. I've been doing it for about 6 years and got pretty good at maintaining it myself between appts, so I can go a 4-6 months. It does sting a little bit (the skin around your eyes are pretty sensitive) but I don't think it's bad at all. And the results are amazing! It's so much more precise than waxing.

Yeah, I was shocked how much it hurt the first time I went - no one warned me! But it can't hurt THAT bad because I keep going back :-) I still tear up but it's worth it compared to waxing. I like the results better.

@Boopers: You can usually go 4-8 weeks. But it also depends on how light/dark your eyebrows are.
