We washed everything - it was easy! And that way you'll know how to wash it so when baby has a poop explosion in it you will know how to do it when the pressure is on ; )

I did wash the swing, the cover came right off so I washed it. I didn't wash the car seat cover though.

I personally wash everything I can when I buy it new, because during the manufacturing process you just don't know what goes on. Things get tossed on the floor, fall down, stepped on, etc. Things are probably cleaner second hand!

I did because it was super easy to remove and put back on (we have the snuggabunny too). For more complicated stuff like car seats and some stroller parts I don't. I figure if it's easy, why not, it just gets that new, chemically smell out.

I personally have washed stuff like that, both new and used. It doesn't take that much time and it gives me peace of mind against allergens, dust, etc.

Well, I'm pretty low-worry about all these things, but FWIW, I didn't wash any of that stuff before use. I think you'll be fine as long as it can air out for a little while before your LO is in them.

So we have the whole snug a bunny line (swing, bouncer, and rock and play). I'm wondering... should I wash the fabric parts before we use them?
