I'm using All Free and Clear detergent, but haven't dried anything yet because I didn't get a Free and Clear fabric softener. This morning I read a board somewhere that says you're not supposed to use fabric softener (of any kind) for baby's clothes - that it reduces the fire-retardent-ness (totally a word!). Anyone heard this? Do you use fabric softener? We have really hard water, so I worry that without using fabric softener the clothing and stuff will not be as soft as it should be. </p>
