@grizz: I like it! I'm glad I don't have to give it up :)

Thanks ladies! Lots of these sound really interesting. I may have to try a new kind the next time I run out!

I've been switching between Burt's Bees Soap Bark cleaner and Yes to Cucumbers Sensitive Skin wash. For my dry patches, I put on a bit of my Burt's Bees belly butter.

I opted not to use anything with salicylic acid, so i switched to the Burt's bees tea tree oil blemish stick, and to an Aveeno facewash with no salicylic acid. I'm sure it wouldn't make a difference but I felt better about it. I also used Cetaphil but my skin was more oily than usual and I wanted something a bit stronger.

I use Bliss fabulous foaming face wash. I had a sample of it that i brought on a 3 week trip last year, and when i got back i realized my skin had never looked better! i'm sure it was vacation that did it, and not the face wash, but i decided to switch to it once i got home, and was pleased that it is safe for pregnancy!

I went with dessert essence when I was pregnant from a recommendation on babycenter. I liked it.

I use Cetaphil daily, and use St. Ive's Green Tea scrub to exfoliate once a week or when I break out. Fortunately, it's been good for pre-pregnancy and during.

@lawbee11: I tried The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil line, and I broke out terribly. I know you break out because your face is getting rid of the gunk, but I used it for over a month and my pimples were large and in charge (more like large cysts than pimples). I loved the smell of it, and was sad it didn't work for me.

Pre-pregnancy I used Murad and Dermalogica for oily/combination skin. Since I had to ditch salicylic acid for pregnancy I switched to the plain Jane Neutrogena basic liquid facewash. The store was out this past time though, so I grabbed the Loreal you mentioned and its been great!

Pre-pregnancy I was using a mild wash and Aveeno moisturizer, but I broke out terribly during pregnancy so I wanted something a a little stronger but also safe. I picked up the Body Shop tea tree line at Ulta (it was recommended to me on HB) and I love it! The 4-piece set was around $30 and I still have plenty left (I started using it around 6 weeks and I am almost 28 weeks now).

Pretty much anything over-the-counter is fine . . . I asked my OB the same thing (about non-prescription topical acne treatments) and he said " are you going to ingest it? if not, it's fine." lol! He also mentioned that most over-the-counter products are fine.

ETA: I used Cetaphil and CeraVe, and Philosophy's On A Clear Day (with salicylic acid).

Did you change your facewash when you were pregnant? I've heard you're not supposed to use anti-acne or anti-aging products while pregnant, but if you didn't use those before, did you continue to use your regular wash while pregnant?

I use L'Oreal Go Clean 360 (not the acne one) and St. Ives Apricot scrub. I really like them both, and I'd rather not dish out for super expensive face wash if I don't have to.

What did/do you use?
