Definitely ask your ped if it makes you feel better, but my LOs both had baby acne and it looked just like this. I never did anything but wash with water and it went away fairly quickly.

Yeah, agree with others, it’s not a rash it’s baby acne. Your hormones are still in her body and causes breakouts in the first couple months. Ours happened around 4-6 weeks and lasted a couple of weeks. We just wiped with a warm wash cloth each night.

Agree it looks like baby acne. Our ped recommended Cetaphil Baby Gentle Wash (which we're still using at 8.5 months because she has super sensitive skin). I doubt you're using baby wipes on her face at this young age, but that really irritates DD2's skin. If any of the spots start looking crusty, that's normal too and you can try using triple paste or another diaper ointment for that.

It's annoying, but it does go away before too long.

My DS has hormonal baby acne from birth for a month or so. He would break out from skin to skin and it looked similar to that.

My baby had something similar around the same time. They said it could be baby eczema & recommended Cetaphil Restoraderm lotion & body wash & we still use it on her regularly, though her initial outbreak cleared up in a couple weeks. For us we had many visitors & it was also very hot around the time she developed it, so I thought it could be general skin irritation.

DD is 6 weeks. She started developing this rash a couple days ago. I thought it was caused by being in her Solly wrap and getting too warm against my skin. But, now I’m not sure. It’s spread to both cheeks, her ear and the back of her neck. Anyone have experience with this? I’m assuming it’s normal, but thought I’d ask. I’ll also be calling her pediatrician tomorrow.
