Updating for anyone curious: saw a dermatologist who thinks it's yeast, just like the little red spots I get every now and then at the corners of my mouth. I was given a topical ointment to apply twice daily for two weeks. She did do a skin scraping to make sure it isn't anything other than that. I'll get results in a few days.

@PixieStix: I put aloe on mine and it made it worse. I usually use aloe to my face or a Marcella face cream with 15spf, but that also made it worse. I don't wear make up so that may have helped. But I really think not washing my face/getting it wet helped a lot. As gross as that sounds. Haha. I also applied coconut oil to it before and after I showered so it wouldn't dry out at all. I guess just pick one product with very minimal ingredients like coconut oil or the honey and stick with it?

@Mrs. Goose: small, I think so. I tried coconut oil for a bit but maybe the other things I did counter acted that. I'm trying to apply different creams now and stay away from wearing make up.

Is it a small patch? I had that a few weeks ago and putting anything on it or washing it made it much worse-turned brighter red and got much more dry/flaky. Coconut oil fixed it up in 3 days and it hasn't come back.

Yes but kinda before pregnancy! I have a section of my chin/jaw that has blotchy/spotty skin since I got my IUD out. I had zero skin issues before this. It's still here with my pregnancy. I really do think it's hormonally related but haven't really figured out a fix for it yet.

I've got an odd facial rash of sorts that won't go away. It's got a few bumps (almost like pimples starting to grow), redness that won't quit and skin flakiness. It's just to the right of my right nostril and looks quite unflattering, but thankfully has not spread or gotten worse.

So far I've tried thick moisturizers like Jason Vitamin E cream, organic coconut oil, and Manuka honey. I thought one of those would start making it go away (I guess the Manuka honey showed slight improvement).

I plan on consulting with a dermatologist but just had to ask you ladies before-hand: ever experienced anything like this during pregnancy?
