Did you eat or drink anything new? Any new products in the house - soap, lotion, makeup, etc? Could be an allergic reaction. Also, are you taking any medications that may be having an interaction? When I was taking Topamax for migraines, my face would swell and go numb if I drank Twisted Tea!!

You better check with the doc. When I got really swollen they said to call if it ever was on my face. Cause it could be a sign if preeclampsia. Of course, I never got swelling on my face but I did get severe preeclampsia suddenly on my due date! I wouldn't have known if I hadn't gone into labor. They may want to check your urine for protein and your blood pressure. They can change really fast!

@blackbird: yeah sort of. I always am pretty avtive and go on long walks with the kids regularly. But I just started doing the thirty day shred a few days ago. (Even though I keep taking days off because I am sore!

Did you just start exercising? Your body will retain water and retain glycogen if you just started working out...it takes a bit for your body to be like "oh it's just exercise, i can chill out" and let go of that. It sends all the water and glycogen to your muscles

I feel like my face is swollen the last couple days, kind of like it is toward the end of a pregnancy. (I'm not pregnant). I'm also up like 6 pounds since I weighed myself last (but I don't remember when that was. A few weeks ago?)

Any idea what coud be going on? I've been exercising more so I would be surprised if I suddenly gained a bunch of weight. I did accidentally miss two days of BC (I'm on the mini pill).

Ideas?
