I have had frers show a faint line for very low hcg, but you can’t assume that every test in a brand is equally accurate at that low level, just that they all are at least as accurate as stated. Which is why sometimes progression on tests is misleading also, unless you wait a decent time in between tests. Hope that is not too confusing!</p> <p>Bottom line, I think you must have some hcg in your system to get a variety of positives, but it may be too low to ping every test yet. The only test I know that always gives you a second line is an opk whether digital or not. This is the inside of someone's test ( for reference.) Your test very well could be accurate. You may very well be pregnant and it's just too early, but I had some really convincing false positives on the FRER and switched to the 88 cent Walmart brand. One time, I took apart a FRER test, flipped the test strip over, and I could clearly see from the inside that it was an indent.
