Some of it will come down to if the adult (or older kid) males in the family are willing to wear tight fitting "long john" style pajamas, or if they prefer a looser, more traditional pajama cut. </p> <p>I love Hanna pajamas for my kids and me, but DH won't put them on for anything. I typically just get him a plaid bottom and solid top that "goes" with what we are wearing, and while I generally haven't preferred the prints that Hanna repeats year after year (the trees and "Dear Deer" keep making reappearances; we've had birds wearing ski hats, trees with bunnies, and an almost brocade-looking print in holiday colors), I do buy them sized in such a way that we can generally get two seasons of wear out of them where everyone's still fit. Hanna PJs fit (my kids, at least) in such a way so that they still look nice even if they are a size big or a bit on the small side.</p> <p>In the past we've had Gymboree (they did adult pajamas too, in the holiday prints), and I've looked at some of the Target/Old Navy ones, but personally wasn't very impressed with the quality, and if I'm going to wear long john PJs with the potential to be really unflattering, I at least want very comfy, thick material to try to make them look as good as possible! :silly: </p> <p>@bees_knees: Moon and Back does have adult sizes! They sell the tops and bottoms separately on Amazon. Just in case you decide you need to match the littles! :) How's the quality on the ones you got compared to retail Hanna? I like that they keep selling the same ones year after year so I don’t need to buy new ones for everyone. It’s a new to me brand but I was impressed with the quality when they arrived. They all coordinate, but they're not carbon copies, so you can mix and match. They're also gender neutral. I bought one of each style in sizes 12m - 6 years, plus a set for me &amp; DH, so the set has lasted us 4 Christmases so far and will for a couple more. Have you had any success with less expensive brands?</p> <p>The other is sizing- baby will be barely two months and I notice in a lot of family sets, there's nothing smaller than 6-12 mos.</p> <p>So I needs some matching pajamas that are cute but not gimmicky, available in newborn-6 mos sizes, kids 8-10, mom, and dad, and maybe possibly won't break the bank? Any recs? </p>
