We didn't have a party for her 2nd and 3rd. We went out for brunch, took her to the zoo, made her favorite dinner and had birthday cake. We didn't have a party for LO's second birthday, instead we had his favorite breakfast, went to the kids gym, had his favorite lunch, watched a movie he picked, etc. and he opened a present from us and we played with that. I would usually be having a party for him but.... My grandma is in the hospital with a brain aneurysm and possible surgery today. So I am not having a party for him. Considering the circumstances I have no idea what to do for him for his birthday. I feel almost like I'm short changing him by not throwing a party but even if I did throw a party everyone would be at the hospital. What do I do? Please give me ideas. </p>
