It's not incredibly difficult to get some good shots of your 6-month-old baby sitting in the grass outside in a cute outfit. There is something seriously magical about those first days with your sweet little one. Honestly, I almost guarantee that you won't look back on the pictures and think, "Gosh, I look so fat!" - you will look back and remember how amazing it felt finally getting to see and hold that little bub that you grew for so long! If I HAD to choose I'd go with newborn. Seeing us as a family for the first time through the lens of our photographer was quite special. LO isn't here yet, but I had the same issues-- I'm not sure I'm going to love how I'm looking in the first 2 weeks or so, but they are only that little once. </p> <p>I am leaning towards trying to take tons of pictures myself in the beginning and getting prof photos later when baby has a little more personality and looks more like him or herself, rather than just adorable baby? My sister gifted me a family photo session for my baby shower. Would it be better to use it for newborn photos or wait till the baby's a little older and more interactive? Newborn photos are soooo cute but I don't love the way I look at the moment. </p>
